We hope you are looking forward to the holidays and the opportunity to relax and celebrate with friends and family. This time of year has us reflecting on the past year and reminds us that we are grateful for your trust and confidence. We are fortunate to have you in our lives and that we have the opportunity to do work that we enjoy and are passionate about. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to working with you in 2025.
We wish you and your loved ones a joyous and peaceful holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year. Our offices will be closed from Tuesday, December 24th through Friday, January 3rd. If it is urgent, however, please email and call us. We will monitor email and voicemail throughout the holidays.
To help with your end-of-year planning, see our end-of-year checklist for better estate planning and financial health on the JM LAW blog. For those who have been told by their attorney or accountant that they are required to file a Beneficial Ownership Information report, see the latest update on our blog.
Beginning this year, we have decided to make a charitable contribution instead of mailing holiday cards. This is a way for us to honor your support and that of our allied professional advisors who are essential to estate and legacy planning. This year, we will donate to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. As you may know, our founder, Jessica Marchegiano, was diagnosed with and completed active treatment for breast cancer in 2023. Our team has been touched by the stories of the increase in the number of children and young adults being diagnosed with cancer, and by the people close to us who have been recently diagnosed, are undergoing treatment, and are learning to live their life after cancer. If you would also like to donate to the V Foundation, click here.
Happy holidays! Here’s to health, happiness, and success for you and your loved ones in the new year.
