JM LAW, PLLC provides all clients with secure, online access to case information and documents through Clio for Clients. This portal is available to both new and existing clients and serves as the primary platform for ongoing case management and communication.

Through Clio for Clients, you can:
  • View and download case-related documents
  • Upload documents securely to your file
  • Track important deadlines and dates
  • Review invoices and submit payments online

All activity within the portal is protected by SSL encryption, safeguarding your information and maintaining the confidentiality of attorney-client communications.


Clients who have already been registered will receive an email invitation with instructions to activate their account. Once registered, you may access your secure client portal at any time using your login credentials.
If you have previously worked with JM LAW, PLLC and have not yet accessed the portal, or if you need assistance logging in, please contact our office at (703) 956-5738 so we can ensure your access is properly set up.

How do I register?

Just contact our office at (703) 956-5738 and tell them you would like to access to your Client Portal.

You will receive an e-mail informing you of a new shared document or bill to view.

Choose and enter a secure password twice, then agree to the terms of service, and you will be permitted to complete registration.

Once your account is set up, you can visit your secure client case management portal at any time by clicking on this link https://app.goclio.com/session/new from any computer or through an app on your phone.

How will i know to check the portal?

When there is a new document or bill to share with you, you will get an e-mail notification sent directly from our office to the e-mail address we have on file.

HOw do i access and upload my documents?

Clio for Clients lets you view documents that JM LAW, PLLC shares with you at any time.

When a document is ready for you, you will receive an email directly from Clio for Clients. The email will ask you to log in so you can view the document securely.

Clio for Clients also gives you a secure way to communicate with your legal team. You can send messages, upload documents, and share large or sensitive files, including information such as Social Security numbers, without using regular email.

To send documents or messages, log in to your Clio for Clients account and upload or message directly from there. Our office is automatically notified when your documents or messages are received.

Most messages and uploads are reviewed the same business day or within 24 hours, depending on when they are received.

Can i download documents and invoices?

Unless other billing arrangements have been made, JM LAW, PLLC will make your invoices available to you via Clio For Clients.

Once a bill has been sent through Clio For Clients, it will be stored like any other document and you will be able to access it at any time.
